Dr. A Farid Bolouri DMD PC
Dr. Bolouri attended Oregon State University and received his Doctorate at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 1992. Certified conscious sedation, completed training in restoring and placing dental implants. Received certification for Invisalign and is a member of the international congress of oral implantologists.
He resides in the city of Portland with his wife and two sons who enjoy travel, soccer, golf and family time together.

Dr. Sandra Katanic, DDS
Associate Dentist
Dr. Katanic obtained her bachelor's degree from UC Berkley and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Katanic is Serbian and is very active in the community. She moved to Portland from southern California with her husband and beautiful baby boy. She is a tremendous asset to our clinic and is loved by our staff.
Dr. Wen Li, DMD
Associate Dentist
Dr. Li joined our team in 2023, he graduated from OHSU with his D.M.D. Dr. Li is Chinese and speaks Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese and Taishanese. His passion is advanced dentistry and helping people in need. Dr. Li loves indulging in tasteful culinary foods. He enjoys hiking and traveling, his goal is to travel the world with his beautiful wife.

Married mother of two, Terry is a fixture of the office. She has worked for Dr. Bolouri for over 16 years. Bless her heart, always coming to work with a smile. Our patients adore her as well as her co-workers.
Sarah
Hygienist
Sarah moved here from California in 2018, and loves the Pacific NW. She’s married and has two beautiful dogs: Lupin and Rascal, her pride and joy. Sarah has a strong philosophy of being honest, detail oriented, and all the while having a great sense of humor! She enjoys working as a Hygienist and the office loves her contagious laugh.
Esther
Hygienist
Esther started as a dental assistant and continued her education to become a Hygienist. Esther strives to give the best care and is committed to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience. Born and raised in Oregon, she loves to travel and explore the outdoors with her dog, but her true passion is photography.
Kara
Lead Assistant
She has been in dentistry since 2006 and has Expanded and Restorative functions. She has three beautiful children, enjoys the outdoors, travel, food and has an enthusiasm for life. She loves her job and working with patients on a daily basis.
Irina
Assistant
Irina is originally from the Ukraine but has been living in the US since she was 5 years old. She loves to spend time with her family which includes her daughter and son and also enjoys to travel when she gets the chance! Irina cares about her work and is proud to be apart of Bolouri Dental Group!
Kaily
Assistant
Kaily started as our sterile tech and is on her way to becoming a full-time assistant. She always comes to work with a smile and is always willing to help wherever needed. Kaily enjoys a good workout at the gym, loves the outdoors, and travels.
Zina
Assistant
Zina is an Oregon native and originally from Salem! When she’s not lighting up our office, you can find her horseback riding and taking care of all the critters on her farm. She has two grown children and has a passion for traveling. When you get the chance, ask Zina about her many travel stories – you won’t be disappointed!
Maya
Assistant
Maya is a Bolouri Dental Group gem! She is passionate about bettering herself personally and professionally and takes active steps toward self-development including receiving her certification in Restorative. She also has a knack for baking, and the staff here can’t get enough of her baked goods!

MaryAnn is our Insurance Patient Care Coordinator. MaryAnn had worked as an assistant for Oral Surgery before joining our team. She enjoys spending time with her family. On her off times she loves thrifting and playing soccer.

Patient Care Coordinator
Christina came to us from the medical field. She’s also lived in Arkansas and Texas. Christina has a beautiful daughter along with her dog Una and cat Bugsy. On her time off she enjoys swimming, hiking and kayaking.

She has worked for Dr Bolouri since 2013. So grateful to work with a team who puts patients first and is always striving to exceed their expectations. She was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to the United States as a child and made Oregon her home. In her free time she loves riding on their Harley and traveling to warm and sunny destinations.

Controller
Karen is originally from Portland, but she’s spent time living in Kawaii as well. She’s a multimedia artist focusing on repurposing and recycling materials, furniture design, one of a kind lamps and gemstone jewelry. She’s married and enjoys spending time with her family which includes two sons, grandchildren, and a 10-year-old St. Bernard named “Mouse.”
